Colombia is a beautiful country full of natural resources. It is geographically located in
one of the most advantaged regions of the world because of the excellent climate and oceanic access through the Pacific and the Atlantic Oceans. For many individuals, Colombia is a touristic area full of amazing things to explore, for others Colombia is a place where meeting one's basic needs requires to live on $3.25 dollars a day or less. Colombia has spoken about its riches at the long of its history but it doesn’t speak about its problems. Colombia shows its natural and cultural recourses they are exhibited like a mercancy to the mutinational corporation as Chiquita Brahns, Coca-Cola, Nestle, British petroleum. Colombia has social problems of international character : It has the first place in forced displacement, human rights violations, landmines, social’s leaders and labor unión slaughters. It is the any country in latinoamerica where the aducation isn’t gratitous and the medical costs are privated. This country needs a radical transformation, people with politic formation and fight capacity.

ReplyDeleteThis is sad, but Colombia isn´t the only country witht that problems, in Colombia the poverty is to hide behind the policies or economics problems such as the rest of the world, because the people usually don´t are interested in the poverty and the problems of the world that around them, like said the people it´s every man for himself that is the motto of our times.

ReplyDeleteThe ONGs are entities that steal the persons who want to help, if ther projects of nourishment and helps the most needed people had been a reality thousands of Colombians in this moment would have something to eat today, we are very ingenuous and we believe everything that is said us, but actually ONGs give only 30 % or less of the money that they receive of the kind donors.

The poverty is the most common aspect in a lot of regions in Latin America. Colombia that is a country that belongs to this zone, is not the exception. Millions of colombians are living with less of basic, and sadly are the children who have been suffering the terribles consequences of this environment.

Colombia, is a beautifull country, with a lot of teasures including landscapes and people, but, by the same way, Colombia is a country with a lot of problems, that usually aren't show to the people of other countries. Poverty is the bigger problem in Colombia. In Colombia, we can see, people with a lot of money, and people, that don't have the necesary resources for live in normality. The low quality of Colombia's health sistems, and the poorest conditions of some people of Colombia are really sad, but, those problems can be fixed, and a big part of the colombia's people, could live in better conditions.

ReplyDeleteColombia is since a country of contrasts on one hand has natural wealth and an exceptional geographical location, but he doesn't have enough this to be a country of opportunities, in spite of the fact that we manage two oceans, we don't know as taking advantage of it, and on the other hand it is one of the countries with those but high indexes of poverty, violence, hunger and illiteracy, and that of it largely should to the conflict armed drug traffic and the corruption of the elites; that they sell the country to the multinationals in exchange for personal earnings. and in spite of the fact that we are in time of elections it stops somehow to begin a change, regrettably it seems to be that we will repeat those bad histories an and another time
ReplyDeleteWe Can see that the tourism advertising only shows the beautiful architecture of Colombia, hiding the great reality of needs that plague not only Colombia but also to other countries. Many people in Colombia is affected by conditions of poverty and unmet basic needs, for mismanagement of the resources offered by the Colombian territory. Colombia historically been bathed in blood, tears and pain, but even in people is a hope for change, which protects the life and nature.

In colombia problematic many exist as the armed conflict the corruption that there are inside the government hydrographic resources that estan being stolen and in addition sold and many mas through that through the fault of this government we are living. In my country there are problems like: violence, traffic of drugs, delinquency, corruption and unemployment. But the principal problem in the country is the poverty because the average population is poor (80%). For example the many youngs to colombians don`t study. they work because they situation. other example is the hunger that the majority of the population has because the unemployment is an abstrade to get food. In my opinion the chance only change it is the association. The UNASUR can help developing contries.

This is sad, but Colombia isn´t the only country witht that problems, in Colombia the poverty is to hide behind the policies or economics problems such as the rest of the world, because the people usually aren´t interested in the poverty and the problems of the world that around them,they don´t care about the different problems araund them, peoples´s motto now days is individualism.

ReplyDeleteObviously we are not the only country that has poverty. Let's see Haiti that because of its moral poverty more than because of the earthquake don't have a place where their children are healthy and safe.
But what differentiates us from Haiti is that the problem of the poverty in our country isn't in to have monetary wealth, the poverty in colombia also is given because we are poor of conscience,we aren't capable of voting and choosing a representative who can administer our goods we aren't capable of choosing anybody who is interested for the community, someone who gives us free education, health (not social emergency).
Actually I think we are poor because we are ignorants and unfortunately we pass the consequences of our ignorance onto our children
